To those interested in a transmission swap, the May 2003 issue of Hot Rod is
a must read. McLeod is building swap kits including bellhousing and adapters
that should be helpful to the Tiger. The chart shows kits to adapt these
engines: 260, 289,302, Boss 302, 351C, 351W and so on can be mated to these
gearboxes:
T56, 2000 Cobra R, 03-04 Cobra, 3 & 4 speed Top Loader, Short - Shaft 3550-
& TKO, G-Force, Jerico, Liberty, Richmond, V-8 T5 thru 93, Tremec Long-Shaft
3550 &TKO, V-8 T5 thru 94-95, GM SAginaw, Muncie, T10, T56 from LS1 Camero/
Firebird, T56 from LT1 Camero/ Firebird, T56 from Viper, Mopar 4-speed (all).

Worth looking at.
