Tiger Folks,
Just watched a race on ESPN 2 at 3:30 EDT Sat. 25 oct 97.
There was a Red Tiger driven by Doug Vallier that won
class 2 at 7 min,24.94 seconds. It was stated that the Tiger
had a tube frame with the original 289. The Red Tiger had huge
front fender flairs and a square roll cage. ESPN 2 had some
nice aerial shots of the Tiger ripping up the dirt. The fasted
time up the Mount Washington Hill Climb ( In the White mountains
of NH) was 7 min 2 seconds in a higher class. The hill climb
was on partial pavement with a lot of dirt sections.
The altitude gain was 6000 ft. The fastest speed logged was
110 Mph by another car. All kinds of wierd cars ran this race.
Don't know when the race was actually run.

Congradulations to Doug. If you are on the Tiger mail
then let us hear from you and about your Tiger.
