As a surveyor and consultant for the classic car industry, I can tell you
the article is spot on. And prices in Europe are dropping faster than they are
here on exotica. This is an excellent time to look for great deals on
classics, particularly in the $30k-$50k value range. One fear among those in this
business is that certain auction houses may try to artificially inflate the
market in the coming months to the benefit of their commissions and the cars
crossing the auction block in which they actually have a financial interest.
Scottsdale will be interesting.
