I've recently had to rebuild my 260 because of a dead cylinder. While it
was out I spent the money to do it right. Rhoades lifters, roller tips,
hotter cam, and headers from Sunbeam Specialties. Rick assured me that no
dimpleing would be required so I had them ceramic coated.

I have tried 3 separate remote oil filter relocators, TD performace adapter,
TD performance 90 degree, and today just got a canton 90 degree adapter.
only problem is none of these will fit with the headers. the TD performance
90 degree almost fits but I have an exhaust leak becuase the header just
barely sits on it.

Can anyone recomend a fix or adapter that will work better for me?

Thanks,

Bruce Richards

Yes. The stock one sad smiley The previous owner of my car got some Gate
adapters. On one end is the 1/2 inch inverse flare fitting that the stock
adapter uses. The other end is a hose barb for 1/2 inch id hose. There is a
90 degree and and a straight fitting. I just replaced the hose recently
with Earl's steel braided hose.

Bruce,

Try www.dalesresto.com and refer to the parts link. I don't have any
personal experience with Dale's adapter, but the description says:

"10026 Oil Filter Adapter Billet aluminum, fits all headers $125.00"

Most importantly, this adapter is made specifically for the Tiger!

Dale is a great guy with a solid reputation (this may be old news to you).

Good luck,
Shaun

Transdapt (spelling). You will have to grind off some of the pot metal,
but it will fit.
