Bleah! Oil filters, particularly my Frams, taste bad. I just tried my
stock of PH3600's (same as PH8A but smaller diameter), and found the
following: You can't blow through them either. I use these on my
Motorsports right angle adapter.

BUT, if you suck, they flow freely once you suck the anti drain back
valve open. Swapped hoses, perhaps? Perhaps the other brands don't
have these valves?
