I have run into the same problem with insufficient fuel volume. It seems the
factory pump when operating correctly produces 2-4 lbs of pressure and once
hot and under load is not able to achieve that pressure at high engine
demand (+4500). At least on my engine I have the same issue with low fuel
volume so my choice was to upgrade to an Aeromotive Street Rod fuel pump and
regulator. This will ensure that I have the recommended 6 lbs throughout the
RPM range. I will be doing the install over X-Mas. Once installed I am ready
to hit the dyno, ... so is there any others in the Orange County area of
California that want to make an event of this in January or February?

Larry,
I did notice that the line is only 5/16 so I am pulling the fuel tank
transfer tube and enlarging the fitting to something with a 3/8 minimum ID
so that there are no restrictions. Still have not heard from any other so
cal guys who want to dyno their cars at the same time. I will get electronic
data and will share it.
