Hi,
Now that it's cold out, my (mechanical) tach has started making a
grinding sound, especially upon starting in the morning, so are there
any places that I can oil/grease such that it will quiet back down? Or
does this mean it's about to quit for good?
Thanks.

I've heard sewing machine oil-lube works wonder for them. Earlier this
year, I killed my MGB mechanical tach on my way back to Wisconsin from
California. I'd take that grinding-screeching sound very seriously!!! That
sound scares the Hell out of ya at Highway speed!
