Hello Alpiners - I have just received the message below, from Pertronix .
The new magnet sleeve will correct the LU-142A problem, with the
distributor location on the Alpine. Contact Rocky for a sleeve exchange.

We just receive the plastic sleeve parts the other day. We have
not put any onto the shelf yet, but if your members want to contact me that
will be fine. Incidentally the part number will remain LU-142A, so the
sleeves part number is LU-142A3.
