The Saturday version of the UK's Daily Telegraph has a regular classic car
spot, and this week featured the Alpine, see:

telegraph.co.uk/motoring/classiccars/7652262/Classic-Sunbeam-Alpin
e.html

You don't see it here, but the printed version also has a valuation
of........................................B#14,000! That's +/- $20,000 of your
American dollars. From experience, I'd say it would have to be pretty special
Alpine or a Harrington/Tiger to attract that price. A good one goes for
betwee, B#5,000 and B#7,000 over here.

Stilll, good to see the old girl getting the attention of the national press.

Anyone out there signed up for the Le Mans classic in July? I'll be taking my
Alpine as usual, but so far I've not got lucky getting her onto the track, as
I did last time (2008).

Julian.

Is that Bill Barwell's (not sure on the spelling) ex-red mistress? I remember
it had many rare options and may be worth $20K.
