Is there a definitive way to tell what year your Sunbeam Alpine is?

The VIIN tag ! Then go to a Vehicle Registration Registry and it will give a year spread of manufacture. The SAL number is a production time that your Alpine went down the assembly.

Actual sale and registry of the vehicle by the dealer will be the dated assigned in most cases as to the year of the vehicle. Am I confusing you yetsmiling smiley

AS an example I have two Sunbeam Alpines that were produced more than a year a part but are both 1965 SIV's. The earlier should be a 1964, just was sold first time by the dealer in early '65.
