An Alpine, maybe V6 conversion, is one of the three finalists for my next "old guy"; car project. Anyone in the area that knows it well that would like to chat so I can know what I am looking for and most important, what I am not looking for? Beer is on me.
( V8 or V6 B-GT or Stag are the other options.)

Any Ampine owners in central NC who woudl like to chat?

After looking at a series IV, I decided it was just not big enough and would be just a better "B" for an old guy, but not quite the touring car I am looking for. So I am now focused on an Avanti or Stag, or Rover 3500 if I ran across a superb one. Another factor was the one I looked at needed both rockers, both rear wing wheel lips, both front fenders, and well we all know what might be lurking. Not ready to do that much metal work after just doing about the same on my B.
That said, a Cologne/ AOD Series IV with steel hardtop and AC would be a really, really sweet car. It is just I have a really nice B I am just finishing and do not want to part with it for some time.
I am needing to plot all the shows around here. I know the ones in Va, Md, and Pa. but are new to this area. If course, after 25 or so years, I know most of the cars up north, so I look forward to seeing different ones here.
