Looking for overdrive for my '65 series v or if anyone knows of a kit available to convert to a 5 speed tranny.

Earl, If you go to the SAOCA Forum and log on and look up George Coleman, He has converted the Alpine 4 spd to a 5 spd ( I believe Toyota).

Jeff, how much will you be asking for your overdrive kits and will it work on a
standard 1725 Alpine.

HI,

I have a complete kit available to include:
- rebuilt OD and tranny,
- OD speedo,
- new wiring loom
- factory switch and relay
- speedo cable
- short drive shaft

These are factory parts that will bolt straight into any Alpine series 1-5 with no modifications (apart from drilling 2 holes for self tappers to mount the relay on the firewall).

You can find owners on here and on SAOCA that are very happy with units I have sent them.

$2250 inc shipping for series 5 - all synchro
$2000 inc shipping for series 1-4 non synchro first
