I am new into the Sunbeam world and have a few questions.First let me say my name is Adam and I live in NC.
So I may be in the market for a Sunbeam Alpine. What I would like to know is what years are the best? What should look out for when buying? Anything else I need to know? How are these for leg room as compared to a MG? I never drove one but they seem a little more roomier. Just also want to add are these cars hard to get pars for?

My brother has a 1980 MGB. My 1966 Alpine has a lot more leg room and a lot more power.

Good to know. How are they to get parts for? The cars seem few and far between.

You can find most of the things you need at Sunbeam Specialties. They are nice people to work with. There are a couple other places but i use them mostly.

Lots of legroom, I am 6'4" and fit in fine....also the steering colulm , brake and cluth pedals and seat height all have adjustments....I like series 4V the best....larger 1725 engine....but the 63 is the rarest and the rear fins are cool. Overdrive is a nice rare option as they are geared too low for intersate driving.....If you reallly want a hoot, buy one of the ford v6 5 speed cars...that is a trend ....parts are easy to find....Sunbeam Specialties inCa is best...also CAT club members in CA have decent parts

In addition to Sunbeam Specialists, inc. Campbell, CA, I use
o Classic Sunbeam, Inc., Ossining, NY. 10562
o VictoriaBritish.com, Lenexa, KS. 66285-4991
o Hemmings Motor News magazine

I have bought used parts from ads I found in Hemmings.
